What this is
OurVitality makes one thing at the moment: a warming herbal patch for knees that have got stiff and stayed that way.
It is not a cure and it is not a treatment. It is a patch that goes below the kneecap, warms up in about half an hour, and stays warm for six hours or more. You can wear it under trousers and you can sleep in it. That is the whole product.
Why warmth
Almost everything sold for a worn knee does something other than warm it. A brace supports the joint and holds it steady. A gel cools it — menthol, mostly, which is right for a fresh sprain and not for a knee that has been stiff since 1998. Tablets work from the inside, on the whole of you, whether the rest of you needed it or not.
A warm joint moves more easily than a cold one. Most people already know this, which is why a hot water bottle ends up on a knee at six in the morning. The only trouble with the hot water bottle is that it lasts twenty minutes and you cannot wear it downstairs.
That gap is the entire reason this product exists.
What we are not going to tell you
- That it rebuilds cartilage. Nothing you stick on your skin does.
- That it replaces anything your doctor has asked you to do.
- That it gets you off a waiting list.
- That it works for everyone. Some people feel very little — and we would rather refund those people than argue with them.
If you have seen an advert claiming a patch reverses the damage inside your joint, please be careful with the rest of what that advert is telling you.
How we run this
- Ninety days to decide. If it is not doing anything for you, we refund you — and you keep the patches.
- No auto-enrol subscription. Nothing ships unless you order it. No plan you have to telephone someone to leave.
- No countdown that resets. If there is a sale, it has a real end date.
- No reviews we did not earn. We are new. When real buyers write real reviews, they will go on the site. Until then that space stays empty.
